ADMIN: Sorry for the confusion, but it should say in the title and in the short description that it is a pk/100. So each package is 100 each. So 1 x pk/100 is 100 total. 2 x pk/100 is 200 total, etc. Thanks for asking.

Lonnie, whether you are simply not being careful about what you are saying in this review, or you are intentionally being deceitful, we can't be sure. We want to give you the benefit of the doubt, but either way, the fact remains that you are not publishing this review with the same information as you provided on the phone just a few minutes ago. You said you had about 190 crimped cases out of 500. Now you are saying all of them are crimped? Also, you claim we do not advertise or indicate crimped primers may be present. Please just double check the product descriptions on any of our OFB. It is clearly and definitively indicated.

You did complain about breaking a lot of depriming rods, and to me, this seems like a rookie mistake. If you break one, and you hadn't checked the primers, then I would understand, as we all make mistakes... but breaking 4 or 5 in a bag of 500 pieces of brass? The fact that you broke so many decapping pins suggests that you did not inspect your brass for primer crimp.

Our product description clearly states "Our range brass includes commercial and military casings". We do not make any quantitative claims or promises as to how many cases may be crimped vs not crimped. That quantity may be anywhere from 0%-100%. We do not sort by primer crimp with any of our once fired brass.

You asked for reimbursement for the broken rods, and as we clearly state  in our OFB product descriptions: Carefully inspect brass... US Reloading Supply is not liable for damage to your equipment or weapon under any circumstances.

Sorry about the shortage, we always put in 3% extra to cover it. But if that doesn't do it, just contact us and we'll send you the replacements. Never want anyone short...

Yes, it was an amazing sale. First time we have ever offered that much off on our clean and polished brass. Well, when the sale is over, the prices go back to normal.  I am guessing that your 3 star rating was based upon the sale price being removed and not about being poor quality brass.

Sir, you implied that our product description was misleading. My response to you was not intended to be rude, it was intended to explain that nothing in our product description was misleading, and that you received exactly what was ordered. For your consideration...

This was your entire email message: "I'm really disappointed in this order. There were 211 crimped primers. "May include military casings" is a gross understatement. I could've bought cheaper elsewhere, or spent just a little more for processed". (As you can see, no mention of bulging cases. This review is the first mention of bulging cases, but we can address that in this response as well...)

Our response to your original accusatorily toned message was simply making these following points:
1) Swaging or reaming primer pockets is a pretty standard process in reloading, and any experienced reloader should have no problem processing crimped primer pockets.
2) Nowhere in the product description do we give any quantitative value whatsoever regarding how many crimped cases there may be in any given order. So my question to you was, how can anything in the description be a gross understatement? (Just to be clear... Saying our description is "a gross understatement" is an implicit accusation of us being misleading in our product description.)
3) We do not understand how you could be disappointed in the product, when the product description specifically states that there may be commercial or military casings included. Me personally, I would think that given the product description, receiving some amount (ranging anywhere from none to all) of commercial or military casings should be expected.
4) If you can purchase brass cheaper elsewhere, then we encourage you to do so. (Perhaps I should have said this in my original response, but hindsight is 20/20... The reason we encourage you to purchase brass elsewhere is because we do not consider crimped cases to be a flaw of any kind, since they can be swaged/reamed, and we do not sort them out of ANY of our once fired brass. So, if you are unprepared, or unwilling to deal with cases with crimped primer pockets, then our once fired brass is probably not the right fit for you.)

Regarding the bulging cases... If done properly, "bulging" is usually eliminated during decapping/resizing.

Keep in mind... This is unprocessed once fired brass. If you are going to order unprocessed once fired brass, you should be prepared to receive unprocessed once fired brass. As the reloader, it is your responsibility to process it, and prepare it for reloading. Otherwise, you should probably buy processed or new brass. (Although, even with new or processed brass... you should resize for yourself, as cases tend to get deformed during shipping.)

We hope you find a different source of brass that will meet your expectations, and we wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. Sorry if you perceived our response as rude. It was merely intended to address your original message, and the accusatory manner in which it was written.

Mr. Cromwell, posted a much longer post on Facebook, so this in in reply to the above and his Facebook posting. Also, as a side note, the review was posted for the wrong product and we moved it to the actual product that he ordered.

Dear Mr. Cromwell, I appreciate your posting your receipt for proof of order, but I believe you, as I saw the email you sent last week as well as the review you put on our website. We answered your email but apparently you did not like our answers. I will say I am sorry you received the assembled casing, however, as we said, things do slip through the machinery, as no process is 100% perfect.

You state it is a ‘live unfired round’, that it is unfired, I don’t doubt. As for it being live, I don’t know. Did you put it in your gun and fire it (which I don’t recommend)? If you didn’t then you are just ‘guessing’, and even if you did say at this point that you did, I would suspect the answer.

As for being ‘super dangerous’, you did not listen to what we said in the email back to you. I won’t go into it here, you just want to be ‘right’ for some reason. Prior to that ‘live’ round accidentally being shipped, it was processed though multiple machines, had hundreds of pounds of steel and other materials pushed and thrown against it and then rotated for minutes and banged together prior to being thrown at high speed at other casings. So, I would think if it would have went off, it would have. Which is one of the reasons we process the brass that way. Not to say it is impossible and that it could be done intentionally, but your chances are better at winning the lottery and getting stuck by lightning in the same day.

Your Facebook post says "After moving on to sort the head stamps, 20% of the casings are crimped primers and are unusable to me. In the process of decapping, I found yet more cases that can't be used. These NORMA cases have a smaller primer hole so the decapper pin will not fit to push the spent primer out. This makes a total of about 25% or around 500 of the cases unusable." So I am a bit confused, are there 10 bad ones, or 500 bad ones? It appears that  after we answered your email about the 'live' round that your answers changed...

Next, as for the ‘unusable’ brass. Please reread our information about what you purchased. <b>“These cases have NOT been sorted other than a general sort for the correct case diameter and removal of steel and paper trash.”</b> Does it say anywhere in there that Norma cases have been removed, or for that matter, any other brand? It also says “May include commercial and military casings” which would indicate that there are crimped primers. If you didn’t read the information we posted, please don’t blame us.

Just because you don’t know how to decap Norma, or use crimped brass, does not mean it is ‘bad’ brass, it just indicates that you don’t know how to do it or don’t want to do it. If you want brass you don’t want to mess with, then buy new brass, or better still, buy factory ammo. There are several ways for decaping Norma and others that have smaller than normal primer holes. BTW, other there are other brands that have that issue too. There are also ways to swage (remove the crimping) from primer pockets as well. There are a ton of lazy reloaders out there that scrap anything that they “don’t want”/”know how to”/”or inconvenient” for them to use.

Please do not buy from us again, and in fact, please do not do any reloading. You do not appear to read directions, follow instructions or listen to new information, which makes you a danger to yourself and others.

Additionally, we note that you are a strong supporter of FTP (Fuck The Police) movement, which explains a lot about your angry postings and needing to be 'right'.
