300 Blackout Brass for Reloading – Cleaned, Sorted, and Ready for Your Bench

Reloading the 300 AAC Blackout requires brass that is consistent, reliable, and properly processed, especially if you’re feeding a semi-auto platform like the AR-15. At US Reloading Supply, our 300 Blackout reloading brass is professionally cleaned, inspected, and hand-sorted to ensure you receive high-quality cases suitable for accurate, safe, and repeatable reloads. Each batch is processed to eliminate damaged, crushed, or excessively worn cases, giving you a dependable supply of once-fired brass that saves time at the bench and improves your overall loading experience.

Our 300 BLK brass is sourced from once-fired, name-brand ammunition and goes through multiple stages of quality control. Cases are washed, tumbled, and polished for a clean surface that makes defects easier to spot. They are then sorted by body diameter, headstamp consistency, and case length, helping ensure uniformity from one load to the next. While all reloading requires proper inspection, trimming, and chamfering, starting with a high-quality batch of brass significantly reduces prep time and helps ensure safe chambering and reliable cycling.

300 AAC Blackout is a versatile cartridge that performs well in both supersonic and subsonic configurations. Because brass lengths can vary depending on firearm type and original manufacturer, we recommend checking every case for proper trim length, typically around 1.368 inches with a maximum around 1.368–1.373 depending on your load data and chamber. Using a quality case trimmer, calipers, and deburring tools ensures your reloads meet SAAMI specifications and cycle smoothly in both bolt-action and gas-operated platforms.

Whether you’re loading 110-gr supersonic rounds for hunting or 220-gr subsonic ammo for suppressed shooting, quality brass is one of the most important foundations of accurate ammunition. Our 300 BLK brass is priced competitively, packaged securely, and ships quickly—offering reloaders a dependable source of components without long delays or inflated prices. If you’re looking for affordable, reliable once-fired 300 Blackout brass, you’ve come to the right place.

Q: Do I need to resize and trim 300 Blackout brass before loading?

Yes. Even with sorted brass, you should always full-length resize and check trim length. Most reloaders trim 300 BLK brass to around 1.368 inches for reliable chambering.

Q: Can I convert 5.56 or .223 brass into 300 Blackout?

You can, but it requires cutting, forming, resizing, and trimming. Using pre-sorted once-fired 300 BLK brass saves significant prep time and typically results in better consistency for reloaders.

Q: Will this brass work for both supersonic and subsonic loads?

Absolutely. Properly processed 300 Blackout brass is suitable for both supersonic and subsonic ammunition, provided you follow safe load data and inspect cases carefully.

Q: Are mixed headstamps okay for 300 BLK reloading?

Yes, mixed headstamps are common with once-fired brass, but all cases should be checked for length and resized. Our sorting process improves uniformity, but always follow your load manual.

Q: What platforms will this brass work in?

300 Blackout brass works in AR-15 pistols/rifles, bolt-action rifles, and single-shot platforms. Always confirm headspace and cycle testing when working up new loads.

300 Blackout Brass Processing

All of our brass has been sorted first Tromels, which remove the 22s, trash and steel casings. Next we sort by body/rim diameter with Roll Sorters, then by height with SnapSorters. Lastly it is hand sorted to remove nickel, bad and defective cases, and any aluminum that may have slipped through. The brass then may be cleaned with our wet industrial vibratory cleaners (250 lbs at a time) , then dried with a heated corncob mixture to bring out the shine.

When we package the brass, we add an additional 2-3% extra to coverage any shortages and any bad brass we may have missed.

We offer high-quality, brass 300 Blackout Cases, cleaned and polished, with free shipping. Our testimonials are a testament to our services! The once fired 300 Blackout casings are one of your least expensive options when reloading Blackout ammo. You'll find that reloading the 300 Blackout with these once fired casings is one of the easiest and least expensive rounds to reloading as shown in our Tier discount pricing. All of our 300 AAC brass includes free shipping for orders $25.00 or more.

Good quality 300 blackout cases

Second order of these came in. All were in good shape, nice and shiny. Couple of bent mouths that resizing fixed. 1 was a converted 223, but it was good too and I'm using it. Great deal, will be ordering more soon.

Best 300 blackout brass I've had in awhile

Ordered from a number of places, and this was the best! The brass 300 blackout was good, but the service and shipping was outstanding! Happy to shop here and will be recommending to my buddies.

300 Blackout Brass OFB

Ordered these awhile ago, and they look great, a few have some minor dents, which are easily shot out. Great clean brass for the price. Lol, read that post about the converted cases. Must be a newbe as when we first started shooting these, converted was about the only things out there! Love to read these reviews and laugh at them!

And if you don't inspect ALL of your brass before you start reloading, you are a special kind of person. I've received new brass from Startline that had a number of cases in them that didn't have primer holes in them!

Some people talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. You can tell a new reloader by how much they bitch and moan about things. Grow up pumpkin!

converted cases

I didn’t expect 20% converted 223 cases, I order from another site that says up front that there maybe up to 20% converted cases but there never is.   the description for these said mixed 300 blk headstamps so was disappointed with so many converted cases, other than that everything was as advertised. Oh there was one with a live primer, I deprimed it without any issues but still it shouldn’t have been there

A manager responded to this review
Hello there. Thank you for the feedback. You posted this review as a guest, so I can't reach out to you directly. However, please see our "Brass Information" page (https://www.usreloadingsupply.com/brass-information). On that page, you'll see that we don't sort by headstamp unless specifically stated, which means some amount may be converted, anywhere from 0%-100%. Converted brass is usable. If you find unusable cases, please let us know.

Regarding the primer, even if it was unfired, it was washed in water and a few chemicals/detergents for at least an hour. So, although that's not a guarantee, there is a good chance that it was no longer live. Again, unfired primers are touched on in our "Brass Information" page.
Super!

Second order
5
This is my second order of once fired brass and this time tried the 300 blackout. This is just as good as the 308 I received except not decapped. Called and asked, found out they typically decap the larger rifle brass which could be Berdan primed. Makes sense. Thanks.

Mixed head stamp 300 blk brass.
5
Mixed head stamp 300 blk brass mostly LC, REM, ran all through resizing die for the heck of it, clean,  a few still had primers. One casing had been chewed up by the ejector, 102 total so... not bad for the price! Especially in today's environment.

Good brass at a reasonable price. I appreciate it being cleaned before I got it. Tired of ordering and receiving dirty brass from others. Have to clean them before I can inspect them. This brass was easy to inspect. Thank you.

Better than advertised.

Excellent all around. Ordered on 10/19 and received on 10/24. During the initial inspection, I could not find a single unserviceable piece of brass. The count total was 110. Very happy buyer.

Great quality. The best option right now
5
This brass is very clean and good quality. Most are brass with a few nickel plated mixed in. I had a new rifle built and the only way to get ammo right now is to build your own.

I was pleased how quickly they arrived in the mail too.
